The bank as a space in a fixed place is more and more disappearing from our communities. At the same time, the bank is everywhere - in shops, restaurants, bars and above all on our mobile phones. The exhibition “More or Less Bank” is a scenographic installation referring to the bank's function and the bank as a place. The project is presented in a situation that the work revolves around - an ordinary commercial premises in Nordstan. The installation consists of: The documentation of a fully loan functioning system where art is lent out in return for another work as collateral, a banco-laundromat and Financial Cushions with embroidered text that brings to mind the bank's customer service and hospitality. A Do-It-Yourself video shows customers how to grow a “money plant" and in the bank's real estate section a magic carpet with patterns representing a luxury villa's architectural drawing is found. Artists participating in the loan system are Leslie Johnson, Pia König, Erik Lagerwall, Matt Lee, Smriti Mehra, Anne Marta Overaa, Anna Persson, Chinar Shah, Rainer Tihvan, Bob Watts, Ola Åstrand.
